Registered members of Black Shield Gaming choose a one word descriptor which describes themselves. It is important to be descriptive and brief, which gives it more impact. It must be a real word and a noun. And it can't be capitalized.
Examples include: stone, lace, dream, death, greed, joy, despair, anger, hope, darkness, leaf and demon.
But why? Registered users will become part of Black Shield Gaming. BSG has the long term goal of creating and expanding the gaming community in Montana, so if you live and game in Montana - we would like to have you as part of our community.
Montana residents will get notifications of events that BSG is running or involved in throughout the state. In the future, we hope to have other plans to bring the gaming community together, plans that are right now just brewing and bubbling in the back of our insidious minds.
You don't have to be from Montana to register, of course. In our modern age, the gaming community is less seperated by distance and its always good to get to know another gamer.

House of Sin
Epic RPG
The House of Scarlet & Lace has had some good years of late, and is
starting to be known throughout the great city as the best classy whore
house around. But such things don't come without a price - and Madame
Scarlet is about to have her past come back to haunt her - in the form
of a demon army bent on collecting some of those promised souls. It
will be a long night for those lovely courtesans and the Madame. It
doesn't look like anyone will be rushing in to help - so they had
better help themselves. A fast paced role-playing heavy, combat heavy
survival action game. And there might be more adjectives by the time I
get around to running it!
Time: Four Hours
Players: 6 Players who are role-playing first and after group fun as a
whole, as well as being willing to play female characters that are
whores (or be upset at other players playing female character that are
whores. . .) 18+ on this one. (Duh.)
Dawn
D&D 3.5, The World of Midnight
The first crack in the dimensions that holds out the gods of light has
been made and the world of Midnight will never be the same. But can
the word of the resurgence of the gods of light be known, or will the
forces of darkness crush it? Once again the chosen of the Witch Queen
will face the Evils of Midnight to bring word to the Elves and the
Dwarves that hope remains. But they discover something on their
journey that will change them - and their lives - forever.
Time: Four hours
Players: 7 - with first come first serve from last years group.
The following two listed events will not be run - sorry for anyone that had their hopes up! Greg has decided to kick back and do more playing then running the next Miscon. . .everybody needs a break eventually!
Prom Night
A Guilty Pleasure LARP
It's the 1950's and the Prom is "The Thing". And in Astenbury, Massachusetts it will be a wild one! Lots of strange things have been happening around town lately, and a few of the elders are starting to suspect the youngsters may be involved. But all the biggest plans are waiting for Prom Night. Come Join in the fun of a short little LARP with vampires, elves, mages and the 1950s - or at least things that are a lot like vampires, elves, mages and the 1950s. There will be pregenned characters as well as some that you can make your own.
Epic Arena
Epic Role-playing Combat
Looking to prove your worth? The gladiatorial pit is looking for a bunch of fighters to support its "Fight Night". Make your own fighter, archer, mage, theurgist or other character and pit them against your fellow players in the arena, with the survivor getting the spoils - and the dead hoping they becomes legends. Epic is a simple, fast paced combat system. We will run a "demo" game for people to try out the tactics and their characters, and then a final round with the crowd screaming for blood!
